More about Langematik 18K WG Black Dial

This is an 18K white gold A. Lange & Sohne Langematik, 301.027. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k white gold buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws. The 37mm diameter solid three-body case, rounded bezel, and downturned lugs are polished/brushed. The dial is solid black silver, with applied bar-shaped hour markers, luminescent alpha hands, an outer track with minute division, and an Arabic numeral 12. It has a subsidiary small constant seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position with a reformatting mechanism. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and it has a 46-hour power reserve at full winding. The 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding A. Lange & Sohne caliber L922.4 “Sax-O-Mat” movement has a zero-reset feature. It's made out of nickel silver, with "fausses côtes" embellishment, and a shock absorber mechanism. It's constructed with 43 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to temperature and 5 positions. It includes a self-compensating flat balance-spring, a “swan-neck” micrometer regulator, and bi-directional winding with 21K gold micro-rotor with a platinum segment, and a hand-engraved balance bridge.
