More about GMT Master II Root Beer Dial 18K / SS

This is a 904L stainless steel and 18K yellow gold Rolex GMT Master II, 16713. It has an integral Oysterlock Stainless Steel and 18k Yellow Gold Bracelet, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, bracelet, screwed-down case back and protected Triplock winding crown, and gold reeded bi-directional revolving bezel are polished/brushed. The reddish-brown and gold aluminum insert on the bezel has 24-hour Arabic numerals for the second time zone. The dial is "Root beer" bronze with round, triangular, and baton hour markers, luminescent independently adjustable Rolex baton hands, a central sweep seconds hand, and an additional 24-hour hand with a luminous arrow indicator. The quickset date aperture is at the 3 o'clock position under a Cyclops magnifying bubble. It includes a superlative Certified Official Swiss Chronometer (COSC) rating, and it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. The 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Rolex caliber 3185 movement is rhodium-plated, with oeil deperdrix embellishment, and a shock absorber mechanism. It's constructed with 31 jewels, a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions. It includes a self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws, and a central hacking seconds mechanism.
