More about Rolex 16014 Datejust Tapestry Stick Dial SS / SS

This is a stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust 16014. It has a stainless steel jubilee bracelet with a double folding deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a screw-down solid case back, and a screw-down winding crown. The 36mm diameter solid three-body case, integral downturned lugs, and fluted engine turned bezel are polished/brushed. The original dial is silver guilloche with vertical stripes. It has applied faceted luminous baton hour markers with dot hour indices, white gold baton hands with luminous inserts, and a center sweep seconds hand. There is an outer minute/second track around the perimeter, and it has a date aperture window underneath a Cyclops magnification bubble in the crystal at the 3 o'clock position. It's a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC). It's water resistant and the 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust 1601 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Rolex caliber 3035 movement that's rhodium-plated. It's constructed with 27 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to temperature and 5 positions, a self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws, and a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting.
