This is a stainless steel and 18k yellow gold Breitling Chronomat B13048. It has a stainless steel Breitling "bullet" link bracelet, and a screw-down dome-shaped gold winding crown, and two dome-shaped chronograph push buttons. There is a screw-down solid case back engraved around the polished perimeter with " Breitling Chronomat B13048 Chronomat MANUFACTURE EN SUISSE - CHRONOGRAPHE - 100M," and there is a center medallion with "BREITLING 1884," and the wings/anchor logo in high relief. It has a unidirectional revolving bezel with black engraved baton minute indices, yellow gold quarter-hour riders with Arabic numerals, 12 yellow gold screws around the side of the bezel at the hours, and a luminous dot at 12 o'clock. The 38mm diameter solid three-body case, straight lugs, bracelet, and stepped flat bezel are brushed/polished. The dial is blue with applied faceted gold baton hour markers, luminous dot indices, and an outer grey minute/one-fifth second scale. Around the perimeter is a tachymeter scale to 1000 UPH. It has gold baton hands with luminous inserts, and a gold center sweep second hand with a Breitling logo counter balance. There is a date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position, and there are three champagne guilloche recessed subsidiary dials, including a running seconds register at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 6 o'clock, and there is a 30-minute totalizer at 12 o'clock. It has a 42-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. The 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Breitling Chronomat B13048 has a Cal. 13 (base Valjoux 7750) movement. It's rhodium-plated, and it's constructed with 25 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, a micrometer regulator, and a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting. The Breitling Chronomat B13048 was introduced in 1984, and was produced until 1996.
