This is a stainless steel Chronoswiss Regulator, CH 1223. It has an alligator leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screw-down exhibition sapphire display case back with anti-reflective coatings, and an onion-shaped push/pull winding crown. The 38mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned straight lugs, screwed bars, and rounded coin-edge bezel and coin-edge back edge are polished. The dial is silver with a blued steel double-spade minute hand, and an outer railway-style minute track with painted black Arabic numerals every five minutes. There is a black painted constant seconds subsidiary dial at the 6 o'clock position, and a black painted radial Roman numeral hour dial at 12 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and it has a 40-hour power reserve at full wind. The 11.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Chronoswiss caliber 122 movement is rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 30 jewels, an Incabloc shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, a skeletonized ball-bearing rotor, and a hacking seconds device for precision time setting. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
