This is a titanium/18K Sedna rose gold Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch 311.62.42.30.06.001. It has a brown Nato fabric strap with a titanium tang buckle, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. It has a pull out completely protected winding crown, round chronograph push buttons (the pusher at 2 o'clock start and stops the chronograph; the Pusher at 4 o'clock resets it). There is a solid screw down case back engraved with "APOLLO 11 45TH ANNIVERSARY – FLIGHT-QUALIFIED BY NASA FOR ALL MANNED SPACE MISSIONS – THE FIRST WATCH ON THE MOON – LIMITED EDITION," and a number out of 1969 examples. In the center medallion is "SPEEDMASTER," and the Hippocampus emblem. The 42mm diameter solid three-body case, flat black fixed bezel with a tachymeter scale to 500 UPH, and straight lugs, are polished/brushed. The dial is matte grey PVD with applied faceted 18K rose gold baton hour indices with white luminous square pips around a raised perimeter minute/one-fifth second scale. The dial is by a special technique using an advanced laser engraver that removes the material surround the name, sub-dials & minute/seconds track. It has rose gold pointed baton hands with luminous inserts, a gold center sweep second hand with a teardrop-shaped luminous register and needle tip. There are three grey recessed subsidiary dials with raised black markers and Arabic numerals, and gold indicator hands, including a running small seconds register at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 6 o'clock, and there is a 30-minute totalizer at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 50 meters/167 feet, it has a 48-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 14.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch 311.62.42.30.06.001 has a mechanical manual winding Omega Master Chronometer caliber 1861 (base Lemania 1873) movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's constructed with 18 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and an index regulator. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).

The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch 311.62.42.30.06.001 was introduced in 2014 in a limited edition on the 45th anniversary of Apollo 11 – July 21, 1969.
