It has a signed screw down winding crown, round chronograph push buttons, and there is a solid snap down case back with "SPEEDMASTER," and the Omega Hippocampus in high relief. The solid three-body 39mm diameter case, straight lugs, and angled flat black bezel with a luminous white tachymeter scale to 500 UPH, are polished/brushed. The dial is black with a guilloche pattern center medallion, and faceted luminous Arabic numeral hour markers around a white luminous perimeter minute/chronograph seconds scale. It has fat, pointed luminous white baton hands, a center red sweep chronograph second hand, and there is a white-rimmed trapezoidal date aperture window at 3 o'clock. There are three recessed black subsidiary dials with white/red markers, Arabic numerals, and indicator hands, including a running small constant seconds register at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph totalizer with a radial guilloche pattern is at 6 o'clock, and there is a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at the 12 o'clock position. It has a 46-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 50 meters/167 feet, and the 13.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. It's rhodium plated with fausses cote embellishment, and it's constructed with 25 jewels, a self-compensating flat balance spring, an index regulator, an anti-shock device, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance. It has a hacking seconds device for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
