There is an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 7 screws, and it's engraved with "DE BETHUNE – SWISS MADE," hallmarks and serial numbers. The 43mm diameter solid three-body case, bullet-shaped sculptural ogival lugs, and convex bezel, are polished. The dial is two-tier Satine silver with blue painted Roman numeral hour markers around a perimeter blue railway-style minute scale. It has blue feuille hands, and twin aperture windows at 9 and three o'clock for the day and month, respectively. There is a radial date indicator with blue Arabic numerals and a blued indicator hand, and the revolving platinum spherical moon display with a leap year indicator (shown by the eclipse of a star below the moon) spins around its own axis. It has a 100-hour (5-day) power reserve at full winding, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

It includes a high-frequency straight-line lever escapement, a patented special 3-spoke titanium balance with platinum ogival weights, and a self-compensating free sprung flat balance spring with a flat end-curve. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
