More about Jumbo Nautilus 3712 '1st Generation' UNPOLISHED

This is an unpolished stainless steel Patek Philippe Jumbo Nautilus 3712. It has an integral stainless steel bracelet with a concealed deployant clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It includes a screwed down exhibition sapphire case back. The oversized “carré galbé” (square shape) 43mm by 38mm solid two-body case, flat bezel, and bracelet are polished/brushed. The dial is anthracite grey with horizontal stripes, applied luminescent baton hour markers, baton hands, and outer minute divisions. There is a 48-hour power reserve indicator between 10 and 11 o'clock, a subsidiary constant seconds sub dial at 4 o'clock, and an analog date and integrated moon phase dial at 7 o'clock. It's water resistant to 60 meters/180 feet, and the 8.7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Patek Philippe caliber 240/164 movement is rhodium-plated, with fausses côtes embellishment, and a shock absorber mechanism. It's constructed with 29 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions. It includes a free-sprung self-compensating flat balance spring, and a 22K gold rotor. This Model was produced for less than one year prior to the introduction of the Jumbo Nautilus 5712 and is extremely rare.
