This is an 18k rose gold/Diamond Pave Cartier Ballon Bleu WE9008Z3. It has an integral a rose gold link bracelet with a double folding deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a fluted pull out winding crown, set with a synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel that's completely protected by the gold "ballon," and there is a solid case back secured with 8 screws, and engraved "CARTIER –AUTOMATIC – WATER RESISTANT – SWISS MADE," with hallmarks and a serial number. The 44mm round solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and angled 122-diamond pave bezel, are polished. The dial is silver Opaline with a concentric wave pattern, black Roman numeral hour markers around a raised field, and with the secret Cartier signature in the VII. It has blued steel dauphine hands, a blued center sweep second hand, and inside is a black minute/second scale. There is an oval date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 15mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Cartier Ballon Bleu WE9008Z3 has a mechanical automatic Cartier 049 caliber (base ETA 2892-A2) movement. It's rhodium plated with "oeil-de-perdrix" embellishment, and it's constructed with 21 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance. It includes an anti-shock device, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a micrometer regulator. It also has a hacking seconds device for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
