This is an 18K white gold Patek Philippe Calatrava 5227G. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k white gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. This is a hunter case with an exhibition display case back for viewing the Calatrava logo on the rotor, and a screwed-down winding crown. The 38mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and rounded bezel are polished. There is a gold-rimmed aperture window for the date at the 3 o'clock position. The dial is lacquered black with white gold dauphine hands, applied faceted gold baton hour index markers, and a center sweep seconds hand. There is an outer minute/second dot track. It's water resistant to 25 meters/80 feet, and it has a 45-hour power reserve at full wind. The 9mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Patek Philippe Calatrava 5227G has a mechanical automatic self-winding Patek Philippe caliber 315/190 movement that's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 29 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a patented Gyromax balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism, and 5 positions. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring, and a 21K gold rotor. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).

The Patek Philippe Calatrava 5227G was introduced in the 2000's.
