This is a platinum A. Lange & Sohne Grand Lange 1 115.025. It has a leather strap with a matching Lange platinum deployant clasp. The solid 42mm diameter three-body case, rounded bezel, and curved/straight lugs are polished and brushed. There is a pushbutton at the 10 o'clock position for adjusting the date. It has a scratch-resistant, anti-reflective-coated sapphire crystal, and a sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws. The dial is two-tone silver with applied radial Roman numeral and diamond hour index markers in the white off center time dial, and blued steel alpha hands. There is a white subsidiary small seconds dial at 5 o'clock, a 72-hour power reserve indicator at 3 o'clock, and a big double-window date aperture at 1 o'clock. It's water resistant and the 10mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

Lange & Sohne Grand Lange 1 115.025 has a manual winding A.Lange & Sohne caliber L 901.2 movement that's constructed from Glashütte 3/4 plate in German silver, with fausses cotes embellishment. It has 53 jewels, 9 in screw-mounted gold chatons, and a shock absorber mechanism. There is a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions. It includes a self-compensating flat balance spring, a swan neck micrometer regulator, and a hand-engraved balance bridge. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
