Photo Recap: The Escapement Club x EWC Meetup

Here at European Watch Company we take pride in getting to know our clients and the local collecting community. With more than 30 years worth of clients and friends under our belts, EWC has become an integral part of the community, so we were excited to partner with The Escapement Club to host a get together for local collectors this past Wednesday, December 13, at the Four Seasons Hotel. The Escapement Club was founded by a longtime client (and good friend of the company!) who bought his first watch from EWC nearly 9 years ago to the day of the event.

Almost 60 watch enthusiasts attended, including many EWC staff and leadership. EWC brought a collection of some of the most interesting timepieces currently in inventory and founder Albert Ganjei and CEO Joshua Ganjei even showed off some special pieces from their personal collections as well. Of course, collectors also brought their favorite pieces and shared them with the EWC staff and other attendees.

Our biggest takeaway from the event was how vibrant the Boston watch collecting community is. Of course we see this every day with how knowledgeable and enthusiastic our clients are when they come by the store. But seeing this enthusiasm extend to the larger Boston collecting community is always great to see.
