This is an 18K honey gold A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk Lumen 142.055. It includes an alligator leather strap with an 18K honey gold tang buckle and a scratch resistant black-tinted, semi-transparent sapphire crystal that blocks most visible light but not the UV spectra that charges the luminous pigments on the hour and minute apertures, allowing them to glow in the dark. It has a large signed pull out winding crown at 2 o'clock and a rectangular quick set button for the hour on the case edge at the 4 o'clock position. It has an exhibition sapphire case back secured with 6 screws engraved with "A. LANGE & SOHNE – GLASHUTTE SA," hallmarks and edition and serial numbers. The 41.9 mm diameter, solid three-body case, angled convex bezel, and curved lugs, are brushed/polished. The dial is created from semi-transparent coated black crystal with a large 72-hour up/down arched power reserve dial at 12 o'clock, and a large 18K white gold "gasket" that includes a large black recessed circular small constant running seconds subsidiary dial at 6 o'clock with white Arabic numerals, a railway-style second scale, and a white gold sword indicator hand with an open-worked diamond-shaped counterbalance. Unique deeply beveled twin rectangular digital jumping hour and minute aperture windows with large luminous fonts are inside the two "wings" of the gasket at the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet and the 12.6 mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This A. It's constructed with 61 jewels a shock absorber mechanism, a constant force escapement, and a a shock-resistant screw balance. It has a precision beat-adjustment system with a lateral setscrew and a whiplash spring, and it includes and a monometallic balance spring that adjusts to 5 positions, a balance wheel with opposing weights, blued screws, and the mechanism oscillates with a frequency of 18,000 vph.
