This is a .950 platinum A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk 145.025. It includes a .950 platinum case with an alligator leather strap, a matching platinum tang buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has a signed screw down winding crown at 2 o'clock on the right-side case band and an exhibition sapphire display crystal case back secured with 6 screws and engraved with "A. LANGE & SOHNE – LIMITED – GLASHUTTE SA – PT 950," hallmarks and a serial number. The 41.9mm diameter solid three-body round case, curved faceted lugs, and convex bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is silver with twin rectangular recessed innovative "jumping hour" aperture windows for the hours on the left and the minutes on the right. It has an arched "up/down" power reserve indicator with a polished white gold indicator hand at 12 o'clock, and at 6 o'clock is a large recessed circular silver constant running small seconds subsidiary dial with a white gold indicator hand with an open-worked diamond-shaped counterbalance. It has a 36-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 45 meters/145 feet, and the 12.9mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk 145.025 has a mechanical manual winding A. Lange & Sohne caliber L043.1 constant force movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, hand engraving, and it's constructed with 68 rubies, an anti-shock system, heat-blued screws, and a monometallic balance. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5Hz). The A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk 145.025 was introduced in 2009 in a limited edition of only 200 examples and it was produced until 2014.
