This is an 18K white gold A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Chronograph 401.026. It has an alligator leather strap and a matching 18K white gold tang buckle. The solid, 39mm diameter three-body case, rounded bezel, and downturned lugs are polished. It has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a transparent display sapphire case back with 6 screws. The dial is silver with painted, luminescent black Arabic numeral hour markers. There is an outer 1/5th second/ minute track, blued epee hands, and an outermost pulsometer graduation. There is a silver subsidiary dial for the 60-second between 7 and 9 o'clock, and an instantaneous 30-minute dial between 3 and 5 o'clock. The rectangular Fly back chronograph (with jumping minutes) pushbuttons reside at 2 and 4 o'clock, and it's water resistant to 30 meters. The 11.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Chronograph 401.026 has a mechanical manual winding A. Lange & Sohne caliber L 951 movement that's Glashütte ¾-plate with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 34 jewels (including 4 in screw-mounted gold châtons), 320 components, and a shock absorber mechanism. It has a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, and a self-compensating Breguet balance spring. There is a swan-neck micrometer regulator, and a hand-engraved balance bridge.
