It includes a matte black-coated titanium case with a ceramic bezel on a rubber composite strap with a coated titanium tang buckle and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has cone-shaped titanium chronograph push buttons and skeletonized articulated guards, and a signed hollow winding crown with a notched rim. There is a rubber grip coin-edge on the left-side case for a steadier hold on the watch. It has an octagonal exhibition sapphire display crystal non-slip case back secured with 8 hexagonal screws with a center circular medallion engraved in high relief with “ROYAL OAK OFFSHORE SURVIVOR – LIMITED EDITION,” a serial and an edition number. The 42mm by 54mm diameter polygon-shaped case, hooded lugs, and iconic Royal Oak octagon ceramic flat bezel with 8 through bolts and vertical gripping strips, are matte black coated titanium. The dial is also matte black with a waffle “tapestry” texture and a wide outer black flange with applied faceted baton hour indices with luminous pips and a luminous white chronograph second scale. There is a black perimeter chapter ring with a luminous white tachymeter scale to 300 UPH. It includes skeletonized fat silver-toned baton hour and minute hands with luminous inserts, and there is a center-sweep chronograph second hand with an open worked ovoid counterbalance. It has a circular date aperture window at 3 o’clock, and three recessed circular black/silver subsidiary dials with white Arabic numerals, markers, and white indicator hands, including a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 9 o’clock, a 12-hour chronograph counter at 6 o’clock, and a silver constant running small second hand with a red-tipped indicator is at the 12 o’clock position. It has a 60-hour power reserve at full winding, it’s water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and the 14.43mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 59 jewels, 365 components, bi-directional winding, inverted snailing on the bridges with diamond-graved bevels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring with variable inertia blocks, a stop balance for precision time setting, and a monobloc 22-carat gold gold rotor oscillating weight with ceramic ball bearings. It has a balance-spring stud-holder with a screwed mobile stud, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). It was introduced in 2008 in a limited edition to 1000 examples.
