This is a black ceramic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore "Ginza 7" Limited Edition Chronograph 26205AU.OO.D002CR.01. It includes a black ceramic case on a rubber/ceramic strap with a titanium deployment buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has a signed rubber-clad hexagonal guarded winding crown, round rubber-clad chronograph push buttons, and an exhibition sapphire crystal display case back secured with 8 white gold screws, and it’s engraved in high relief with “ROYAL OAK OFFSHORE LIMITED EDITION – GINZA,” an edition and a serial number. The barrel-shaped 42mm diameter three-body case, hooded screwed lugs, and octagonal flat black ceramic bezel with 8 white gold face screws, are polished/crushed. The dial is smooth black, one of the few rare Offshore models made without a tapisserie finish, with applied luminous titanium Arabic numerals and with 9 fine white diamonds set into the “7.” It has rounded titanium baton hour and minute hands with luminous inserts, a black center sweep second hand with a gold needle tip and a wedge-shaped counterbalance, and there are three yellow gold-ringed round black subsidiary dials with white chapter rings, black Arabic numerals, and black indicator hands, including a constant running small seconds register at 12 o’clock, a 30-minute chronograph counter at 9 o’clock, and there is a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at the 6 o’clock position. A round magnified date aperture window is at 3 o’clock. It includes a raised tier perimeter black tachymeter chapter ring with 500 UPH and white Arabic numerals around a minute/second scale. It has a 50-hour power reserve at full winding, it’s water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and the 15mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph 26205AU.OO. D002CR.01has a mechanical automatic self-winding Audemars Piguet caliber 3126/3840 chronograph movement. It's rhodium-plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment and It's constructed with 54 jewels, 365 components, bi-directional winding, inverted snailing on the bridges with diamond-graved bevels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring with variable inertia blocks, a stop balance for precision time setting, and a monobloc 22-carat gold rotor oscillating weight with ceramic ball bearings. It has a balance-spring stud-holder with a screwed mobile stud, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). It was released in 2011 in a limited edition of 200 examples.
