The dial is black with gold luminous rectangular hour and minute hands, a gold center sweep second hand with a luminous "lollipop" indicator and a red needle tip, and it has luminous applied gold circular and trapezoidal hour index markers. It has a straight-line lever escapement, a beryllium balance, a Glucydur free sprung balance with gold regulation screws that's adjusted or heat, cold, and 6 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a hacking seconds device for precision time setting.
