More about Breguet 7057BB/G9/9W6 La Tradition Black Dial / 18K White Gold 40MM

This is an 18k white gold Breguet La Tradition 7057BB/G9/9W6. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18K white gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a pull out winding crown, and an exhibition sapphire display case back engraved with "Breguet – Ref. 7057," and assorted gold hallmarks. The 40mm diameter solid three-body coin-edged case, angled lugs with gold screwed bars, and rounded cupped bezel are polished. The dial is partially skeletonized and open, with a skeletonized polished finished movement, and a black gold guilloche off-center time dial at 12 o'clock with white Roman numeral hour markers, minute dots around the perimeter, and polished steel Breguet hands. There is a 50-hour power-reserve indicator arch on the back of the movement. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Breguet La Tradition 7057BR/G1/9W6 has a mechanical manual winding Breguet caliber 507DR1 movement that's constructed with 34 jewels, blued screws, a Breguet "pare-chute" anti-shock system (originally invented by A. Louis Breguet in the 18th century), and a silicon inverted in-line escapement. It includes a monometallic balance with 4 regulating screws, adjusted to six positions. There is a self-compensating silicon balance spring with a Breguet overcoil; the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz).

The Breguet La Tradition 7057BR/G1/9W6 was introduced in 2010.
