It has a signed screw down winding crown and a solid screw down case back with a laser engraving of the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk and "CURTISS – ETANCHE 100M – BREITLING – CERTIFIIE CHRONOMETRE," a serial and a reference number. The 41mm diameter round two-body solid case, curved lugs, and knurled convex bidirectional rotating bezel, are black satin-finished steel. The dial is military green with luminous white Arabic numeral hour markers, outer white Arabic numeral minute markers every five seconds to a red "60", and there is a black perimeter rehaut with a white railway-style minute/second chapter ring with triangular hour indices. It has a white framed date aperture window at 6 o'clock, pointed steel baton hour and minute hands with luminous fill, and there is a steel center sweep second hand with an orange arrow indicator tip. It includes a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating and it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. It has a 40-hour power reserve at full winding and the 10.74mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Breitling Navitimer M173152A1L1X1 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Breitling caliber 17 (Base ETA caliber 2824-2) movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed with 25 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and the mechanism oscillates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Breitling Navitimer M173152A1L1X1 was introduced in 2019 as an homage to the American aircraft manufacturer Curtiss Wright and its most famous plane, the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk.
