This is a .950 platinum Cartier Tank XL Collection Privee CPCP 2915. It includes a blue alligator leather strap with an 18K white gold deployment buckle and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a signed pull-out winding crown set with a sapphire cabochon, and a saphire case back secured with 8 screws engraved with "CARTIER – MECHANIQUE – WATER RESISTANT – PT 950 – SWISS MADE," a serial number and hallmarks. The 30mm by 40mm rectangular art deco-style solid two-body case are polished. It includes a silver sunray guilloche dial with a central rose motif, black Roman numeral hour markers (with the "secret" Cartier signature in the VII), blued Cartier hour and minute hands, and there is an inner black railway-style hour/minute scale. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 36-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 7.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Cartier Tank XL Collection Privee CPCP 2915 has a mechanical manual winding Cartier caliber 9701MC (based on the Piaget caliber 9701MC) rhodium-plated movement. It's engraved with special Cartier decoration, and a signed Cartier rotor. It's constructed with 18 jewels, 131 components, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a micrometer regulator, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). Cartier Tank XL Collection Privee CPCP 2915 was introduced c. 2005. The CPCP stands for the Collection Privee Cartier Paris. This watch was released in a limited run of 100 pieces.
