This is a stainless-steel Cartier Santos De Cartier Large WHSA0028. It includes a stainless-steel case with an integral stainless-steel "SmartLink" bracelet with a double folding deployment clasp and scratch resistant sapphire crystals (gently curved over the face). It has a seven-sided screw down winding crown set with a faceted green jasper, with crown guards and an exhibition sapphire display crystal case back secured with 8 screws and engraved "CARTIER – SWISS MADE - STAINLESS-STEEL 4109 – WATER RESISTANT 100M." The 39.8mm by 39.8mm square solid two-body skeletonized case, bracelet, hooded lugs, and flat bezel with 8 face screws, are polished/brushed. It has a skeletonized dial with the open worked bridges forming Roman numeral hour markers with emerald-green lacquer fill. It includes steel Cartier sword hour and minute hands with luminous inserts and it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. It has a power reserve of 72-hours at full winding, and the 9.08mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Cartier Santos De Cartier Large WHSA0028 has a mechanical manual winding Cartier caliber 9611 MC movement. It's rhodium plated with skeletonized bridges that form the Roman Numeral hour markers. It's constructed with two barrels, 20 jewels, 138 components, a shock absorber system, and a monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). It was introduced in 2022. The model line was named after Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont who requested Louis Cartier to make him the first dedicated aviation watch in 1904.
