More about De Bethune DB10 Re-Edition 18k Yellow Gold NUMBER ONE
This is an 18k yellow gold De Bethune Re-edition DB10RS1. It includes an 18k yellow gold case with an alligator leather strap, an 18k gold tang buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals with anti-reflective treatment. It has a faceted, knurled pull-out winding crown and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with five screws and it's engraved with four hallmarks. The 42mm solid two-body case, cone-shaped lugs (like in the early 2020's De Bethune watches), and thin convex bezel are polished. The dial is silver with two guilloche finishes including a "fish-scale" scalloped perimeter flange with a dark blue minute/second chapter ring, raised blue Arabic numeral hour markers, a scalloped sunray guilloche center, and a circular plain silver radial quickset date ring with a gold center sweep indicator hand. It has blued feuille leaf hour and minute hands and a blued center sweep second hand. It has a 6-day/144-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 10.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This De Bethune Re-edition DB10RS1 has a mechanical automatic De Bethune caliber DB-2124 movement. It's rhodium plated with a brushed and grained finish and it's constructed with 31 jewels, a snailed Etachron micro adjustment regulator, a triple pare-chute anti-shock system, twin barrels, 255 components, and a monometallic balance. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The De Bethune Re-edition DB10RS1 was released in 2011 in a limited edition of 20 examples in yellow gold, a re-edition of the original DB10 from 2006. This watch was number one. De Bethune was formed in 2002 and produces only 150-200 watches a year.
