This is a stainless steel Franck Muller Casablanca 5850. It has an alligator leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and a curved scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a pull out winding crown, and a solid brushed curved case back secured with 4 screws and engraved with "FRANCK MULLER-GENEVE- MASTER OF COMPLICATIONS-CASABLANCA-5850." The 31mm by 45mm (including lugs) curved tonneau art deco style solid case, straight lugs, and thin rounded bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is matte black with painted luminous stylized Arabic numeral hour markers, luminous blued steel sword hands, and a center sweep steel leaf seconds hand with a luminous insert. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and it has a 42-Hour power reserve at full wind. The 11mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Franck Muller Casablanca 5850 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Franck Muller caliber 2800 (base ETA 2892) movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment on the bridges, a straight-line lever escapement, 21 jewels, and a shock absorber device. It includes a monometallic Glucydur balance, a platinum ball bearing rotor, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).

The Franck Muller Casablanca 5850 was introduced in 2000 and it was produced until 2009.
