It has a pull out signed winding crown, and aa snap down exhibition sapphire display case back engraved with "GIRARD-PERREGAUX – – ACIER-D," a reference and an edition number. The 40mm diameter solid round two-body case, curved lugs, and flat sloping bezel, are high polished stainless steel. It has a aventurine dial with applied faceted baton hour indices at the quarter hours, luminous stick hour markers, feuille leaf hands, and a center sweep second hand with an ovoid counterbalance. It includes a white-framed date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position. It has a 46-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 8.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Girard Perregaux 1966 Orion 49555-11-435-BB4A has a mechanical automatic self-winding Girard Perregauz caliber GP03300-0132 movement. It's rhodium plated, and has five different finishes, including Cotes de Geneve and oeil-de-perdrix embellishment with engraving, circular graining and beveling. It's constructed with 27 jewels, 218 components, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, blued screws, a monometallic balance that's adjusted for 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, a micrometer regulator, and an 18K gold rotor. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
