More about Spring Drive Power Reserve Silver Dial

This is a stainless steel Grand Seiko SBGA283. It has an integral stainless steel link bracelet, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coatings. It includes a signed screw down winding crown with crown guards and a screw down solid case back engraved with "WATER RESISTANT – 10 BAR - STAINLESS STEEL – MADE IN JAPAN," the Grand Seiko Lion emblem in the center, and a serial number. The 40mm diameter round solid two-body case, curved drilled lugs, and flat angled bezel, are Zaratsu polished. The dial is silver with applied faceted tapered baton index hour markers with luminous inserts around a white perimeter minute/second scale. It has polished steel dauphine sword hands with luminous inserts and a polished center sweep second hand. There is a steel-framed date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position and it has an arched power reserve indicator with a indicator hand between 7 and 8 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 72-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 12.3mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The Grand Seiko SBGA283 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Grand Seiko caliber 44GS movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment and it's constructed with 30 jewels, a stop seconds feature for precision time setting, a shock absorber system, and MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical System) technology utilizing semi-conductor functions to enhance the basic performance of the oscillating weight and the mainspring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz).
