This is a stainless-steel Grand Seiko Elegance GMT SBGM235. It has an alligator leather strap with a tri-folding stainless steel deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant box-shaped sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. It has a pull-out winding crown, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws nd it’s engraved with "CALIBER 9S66 00F – MADE IN JAPAN – STAINLESS STEEL – WATER RESISTANT TO 30M,” and a serial number. The crystal is printed with a blue lion emblem and “CALIBER 9S 20TH ANNIVERSARY SINCE 1998 - LIMITED EDITION." The 39.5mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and flat bezel, are polished/brushed. It has a silver guilloche dial with a radial mosaic pattern comprised of the repeating ‘G’ ‘S’ of the older Daini Seikosha logo. It includes applied faceted steel baton hour indices around a black perimeter minute/second scale. Inside the hour indices is a blue Arabic numeral 24-hour GMT scale with a plain reserve. It has steel Dauphine hands, a center sweep seconds hand, and there is a fourth blued steel indicator hand with an arrow tip for the GMT. There is a steel ringed square date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position, and it has a 72-hour/3-day power reserve at full winding. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and the 13.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Grand Seiko Elegance GMT SBGM235 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Grand Seiko caliber 9S66 movement. It's rhodium plated with Glashutte stripe embellishment, and it's constructed with 35 jewels, an anti-shock device, and a monometallic balance adjusted for temperature, isochronism, and 6 positions. It has an index regulator, a stop seconds device for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Grand Seiko Elegance GMT SBGM235 was released in 2018 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Grand Seiko 9S automatic movement in a limited-edition of 1000 examples.
