This is a stainless-steel Grand Seiko SBGW253. It has crocodile leather strap with a stainless-steel tang buckle, and a scratch resistant "high definition" sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. It has a pull-out winding crown and a solid snap down case back engraved with "LIMITED EDITION – WATER RESIST – MADE IN JAPAN," and hallmarks. The 38mm diameter solid two-body case, curved lugs, bracelet, and flat angled bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is silver with applied faceted baton hour markers, sword hands, and a blue steel center sweep seconds hand. It has a 72-hour power reserve at full winding. It's water resistant, and the 11.5 mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Grand Seiko SBGW253 has a mechanical manual winding Grand Seiko caliber 9S64 movement. It's rhodium-plated, with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed with 24 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, a mainspring made with Seiko's alloy "SPRON510", and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to six positions and temperature. It's antimagnetic to 4,800 A/m, and it includes an escape wheel and pallet manufactured by MEMS, an index regulator, a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Grand Seiko SBGW253 was produced in a limited edition in 2017.
