It includes a soft iron antimagnetic inner shield, and the 36mm diameter solid two-body case, gently curved lugs, and flat angled bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is black with luminous white Arabic numeral hour markers, and vintage luminous baton, square, and triangle hour indices at the quarter hours. There is a white luminous minute/second scale around the perimeter. It has gold baton hands with luminous inserts, and there is a center sweep second hand. A quick set date aperture window is at the 3 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, and it has a 40-hour power reserve at full winding. The 10.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Mark XII Pilot 3241 has a mechanical automatic self-winding caliber 884/2 (based on the Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 889/2) movement. It's rhodium plated, and it's constructed with 21 jewels, an anti-shock device, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance. It includes a self-compensating flat balance spring, a hacking seconds device for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
