This is a stainless steel IWC Ingenieur Automatic 3521-001. It has an integral stainless steel link bracelet, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It includes a signed screw down winding crown, and there is a solid screw down case back. The 34mm diameter barrel-shaped two-body solid case, straight hinged lugs, and flat bezel secured with 5 face screws, and bracelet, are brushed. It has a white dial with applied faceted luminous gold-tone "boat-shaped" hour indices, gold pointed thin baton hands with luminous inserts, and a center sweep second hand. The perimeter has a black minute/second scale, and there is a magnified date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position. It includes a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating, it's water resistant to 120 meters/400 feet, it has a 40-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 8.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Ingenieur Automatic 3521-001 has a mechanical automatic self-winding JLC caliber 8872 (base JLC caliber 889/2) movement. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's constructed with 36 jewels, a shock absorber system, a straight-line lever escapement, a free-sprug balance, and a platinum rotor. The balance wheel oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The IWC Ingenieur Automatic 3521-001 was produced between 1993 and 2000.
