This is a stainless-steel IWC Mark XV Spitfire IW325311. It has a leather strap with a stainless- steel deployment buckle and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It includes an oversize signed aviator winding crown for gloved hands, and a solid screw down case back engraved with "DIE FLIEGERUHR AUTOMATIC," and a serial number. The 38mm diameter solid round 2-body case, curved lugs, and flat bezel, are brushed. The dial is two-tier black with applied silver Arabic numeral hour markers surrounded by a luminous white minute/second scale with Arabic numerals every five seconds to 60. It includes a center sweep second hand with an ovoid counterbalance, steel Spitfire minute and hour hands with luminous fill, and there is a date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position. It has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 60 meters/200 feet, and the 10.15mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Mark XV Spitfire IW325311 has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC Caliber 37524 movement (based on the ETA caliber 2892-A2) movement. It's rhodium plated and it's constructed with 21 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism, and 5 positions. There is a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a hacking seconds device for precision time setting. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
