This is a stainless-steel IWC Portuguese Chronograph IW371438. It includes a leather strap with a matching stainless-steel deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant domed sapphire crystal. It has a signed pull-out winding crown and screw-down case back secured with four screws and engraved with "INTERNATIONAL WATCH CO." The 41mm diameter solid three-body case, overhanging "deep dish" bezel, downturned lugs, are polished/brushed. The matte black dial has applied steel Arabic hour numerals and outer pip minute/second divisions. It has steel feuille leaf hands, a center sweep second hand, and a black perimeter rehaut with a white minute/second track with a 1/5th seconds scale. The round pushbutton chronograph has subsidiary dials for the constant running small seconds at 6 o'clock, and a recessed black 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 12. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 44-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Portuguese Chronograph IW371438 has a mechanical automatic self-winding caliber 79350 (based on the ETA 7750) movement that's gilt brass with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment. It's constructed with 31 jewels, a monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, and a straight-line lever escapement. There is a shock absorber mechanism and a, self-compensating flat balance spring, as well as a hacking seconds device. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
