This is a stainless steel IWC Spitfire Chronograph IW371705. It has an stainless steel bracelet, and a domed anti-reflective scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a large screw down signed winding crown, round chronograph push buttons, and a screw down solid case back engraved with "FLIEGERUHR – INTERNATIONAL WATCH CO." The 42mm diameter solid three-body case, gently curved lugs, and flat stepped angled bezel, are polished/brushed. It has a two tone silver "Spitfire dial with a concentric circle center medallion, and applied luminous steel Arabic numeral hour markers around a plain silver reserve, surrounded by a black minute/fraction of a second scale with black Arabic numerals every five seconds to the 60-minutes position on the perimeter rehaut. It includes steel "Spitfire" hands with luminous inserts, a steel center sweep chronograph seconds hand with a luminous triangle indicator, and there is a rectangular steel-framed double aperture window for the day and date at 3 o'clock. It has three recessed silver subsidiary dials with concentric circle guilloche, black Arabic numerals and markers, and steel indicator hands with luminous fill, including a running small constant seconds register at 9 o'clock, a 12-minute chronograph totalizer at 6 o'clock, and there is a 30-minute totalizer at 12 o'clock. It's water resistant to 60 meters/200 feet, it has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 14.7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Spitfire Chronograph IW371705 has a mechanical automatic self-winding in-house IWC caliber 79320 (based on the ETA caliber 7750) column wheel chronograph movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed using 31 jewels, an anti-shock system, and blued heat tempered screws. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, an anti-magnetic iron core, and an index regulator. It has a self-compensating flat balance spring, a hacking seconds device for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
