This is a ceramic and stainless steel IWC Doppelchronograph 3786. It has a black leather strap with a stainless steel IWC tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has round stainless steel chronograph pushers, a pull out winding crown, and there is a third round push button in the left-side case band at 10 o'clock. It has a solid screw down case back, engraved with 'INTERNATIONAL WATCH CO.-FLIEGERUHR," and the edition number out of 1000 examples. The 44mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and flat angled bezel, are matte. It has a black dial with luminous baton indices and luminous Arabic numeral hour markers around a luminous minute/second scale of military design. It has white luminous "Spitfire" hands, a white center sweep chronograph hand, and there is a double date aperture window with the day and date at 3 o'clock. There are three black recessed subsidiary dials with white luminous markers and Arabic numerals, including a running small seconds register at 9 o'clock, a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 12 o'clock, and there is a 12-hour chronograph dial at the 6 o'clock position. This IWC Doppelchronograph 3786 has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber 79230 movement. It's rhodium-plated with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's constructed with 29 jewels, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions. It has a self-compensating flat balance spring, an index regulator, and a hacking seconds device. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
