This is a stainless-steel IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41mm IW388103. It includes a calfskin leather strap with a stainless-steel tang buckle and scratch resistant sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating. It has a pull-out signed winding crown, fluted round chronograph push buttons, and a screw down exhibition sapphire display crystal case back engraved with "INTERNATIONAL WATCH CO – PILOT'S WATCH – 10 BAR, and a serial number. The 41mm diameter round solid three-body case, curved lugs, and thin angled bezel, are brushed/polished. The dial is blue with large luminous Arabic numeral hour markers surrounded by a luminous perimeter minute/second scale with rectangular hour indices and an aviator triangle at the 12 o'clock position. There are twin blue-framed day and date aperture windows at 3 o'clock. It includes three recessed blue concentric circle guilloche subsidiary dials with white Arabic numerals, markers, and white luminous Spitfire indicator hands, including a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 12 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph counter at 9 o'clock, and there is a small constant running seconds register with an orange indicator hand. It has a 68-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and the 14.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41mm IW388103 has a mechanical automatic IWC caliber 89361 (based on the IWC caliber 89360) movement that's rhodium plated with circular Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 38 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance adjusted for heat, cold, and 5 positions, and a shock absorber mechanism. It has a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41mm IW388103 was introduced in 2021. This new generation of IWC's pilot's chronograph has a 2mm smaller case.
