This is a stainless steel IWC Portuguese 7 Day Automatic IW500715. It has an alligator leather strap with an IWC stainless steel deploymant clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a screw-down exhibition sapphire display case back engraved with the serial number. Engraved on the rotor segment is "IWC – SCHAFFHAUSEN - 7 DAYS POWER RESERVE," and it has an 18k gold IWC medallion with "PROBUS SCAFUSIA (Fine Shaffhausen)." The 42mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and concave bezel are polished. The dial is silver with applied blued steel Arabic numeral hour and small square hour markers, around a railroad-style minute track. It has blued steel dauphine hands, and there is a trapezoidal date aperture window at 6 o'clock. There are twin silver subsidiary dials with black lettering and blued hands, including a running small seconds register at 9 o'clock, and a 7-day/60-hour power reserve dial at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Portuguese 7 Day Automatic IW500715 has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber 52010 movement. It has a Pellaton winding system with the automatic wheel, pawls, and rotor bearing made of ceramic for much longer wear. It’s constructed with 31 jewels, two barrels, a shock absorber device, and a Glucydur® beryllium alloy indexless balance, with high-precision adjustment screws on the balance rim. It has a self-compensating Breguet flat-balance spring.
