This is an 18k rose gold IWC Portuguese Hand Wound IW545406. It has an alligator leather Santoni strap with an 18K rose gold deployant buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. There is a pull out winding crown, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws, and an engraved serial number on the perimeter. The 44mm solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and fixed concave bezel are polished. The dial is "Ardoise" slate grey with a sunburst finish, rose gold leaf hands, applied rose gold Arabic numeral and square gold index hour markers, and a luminous white railway-style minute scale. There is a grey subsidiary running small seconds dial at 6 O'clock with luminous white Arabic numerals, seconds scale, a gold indicator hand, and a red "60." It has a 46-hour power reserve at full winding, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The 10mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This IWC Portuguese Hand Wound IW545406 has a mechanical manual winding IWC caliber 98295 movement. It's rhodium plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 18 jewels, a large screw balance, and a self-compensating flat Breguet balance spring. There is a nickel silver 3/4 bridge, and other bridges that are embellished with circular graining and Coates de Geneve stripes. It includes an index regulator, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5 Hz).

The IWC Portuguese Hand Wound IW545406 was introduced in 2011, and produced until 2014.
