This is a stainless steel Jaeger LeCoultre Master Grande Ultra Thin 171.8.90.S, it has an alligator leather strap with a stainless steel deployant buckle, automatic movement, pull out winding crown, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 8 screws, and engraved "JAEGER-LECOULTRE – SWISS MADE," a hallmark and serial number. The 38mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and angled flat bezel are polished. The dial is reflective sunray pattern brushed silver, with applied faceted steel dart hour markers, white gold rhodium-plated Dauphine hands, an a perimeter dot minute scale. It has a recessed running seconds subsidiary dial at the 6 o'clock position. It has a 43-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet. The 7.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Jaeger LeCoultre Master Grande Ultra Thin Small Second 171.8.90.S has a mechanical automatic self-winding Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 896 movement. It's constructed with 32 jewels, 223 components, and it's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It includes a shock absorber mechanism, a straight-line lever escapement, a variable inertia balance, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. It has ceramic ball-bearings requiring no lubrication or maintenance, an index regulator, and a rotor with a cotes de Geneve pattern. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz).
