This is a stainless steel Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Rising Hours Chronograph 102337. It has a black alligator leather strap with a stainless steel triple folding deployment buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coatings. It includes a large pull out domed and fluted signed winding crown with an "O" ring and the Montblanc white star, a corrector on the left-side case band for the day and date at 10 o'clock, and a rectangular monopusher chronograph push button on the left-side case band at 8 o'clock. It has an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws, and it's engraved with "MONTBLANC – WATER RESISTANT – 3 BAR – SWISS MADE – STAINLESS STEEL," and a hallmark, with a power reserve indicator visible through the case back crystal. The 43mm diameter solid 3-body case, fluted curved lugs, and convex bezel, are polished. The dial is anthracite grey with a fine guilloche pattern, and there is an arched aperture window at 12 o’clock with laser cut Arabic numerals from 1 through 12, with an arrow indicating the hour. The numerals are half blue and half black to show night/day, which is placed inside a circular steel reserve with a black minute scale with black Arabic numerals to 60. It has small semi-circle apertures at 3 and 9 o’clock for the day and date. There are twin subsidiary silver dials with black Arabic numerals, markers, and steel indicator hands, including a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 5 o'clock, and a running constant small 60-second register at 8 o'clock, each with rotating discs. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 72-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 15.2mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Rising Hours Chronograph 102337 has an automatic self-winding Montblanc caliber R220 (based on the Montblanc caliber R200) column wheel monopusher chronograph movement. It's rhodium-plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment and circular graining on the bridges. It's constructed with 40 jewels, 342 components, blued screws, an Incabloc anti-shock system, and a hairspring flat plate and circular grained bridges. It's constructed with 40 jewels, double mainspring barrels mounted in series, a vertical clutch for rapid reset controlling the start, stop and reset functions with the single monopusher. It includes a self-compensating free-sprung balance, special gearing for more efficient power transmission, and the mechanism oscillates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz).

The Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Rising Hours Chronograph 102337 was introduced in 2013 at SIHH. The Nocolas Rieussec collection is Montblanc's tribute to the inventor of the first patented chronograph in 1821.
