This is a stainless-steel Montblanc 1858 "Unveiled Secret" Minerva Monopusher Chronograph Skeleton 129613. It includes a stainless-steel case on a blue alligator leather strap with a stainless-steel tang buckle and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screw down winding crown with a signed Montblanc star monopusher button and there is a solid case back secured with 6 screws with a high relief depiction of the Montblanc manufacture in Villeret, Switzerland with the Minerva seal and “MONTBLANC MANUFACTURE VILLERET.” It’s engraved with MONTBLANC – FAIT A VILLERET – 1858 – WATER RESISTANT 3 BAR – LIMITED EDITION 01/58 -STAINLESS STEEL,” and a serial number. The 43mm diameter oyster-shaped case, curved lugs, and knurled bezel, are satin/brushed. The dial is skeletonized with a luminous applied blue Arabic numeral at 12 o’clock, applied blue “boat-shaped” resin hour indices, and luminous “cathedral” hour and minute hands with a blue center sweep chronograph second hand with a spade-shaped counterbalance. It includes a perimeter black-printed minute/second scale and there are three horizontally placed overlapping open worked circular steel subsidiary dials including a constant running seconds register with black Arabic numerals at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 3 o’clock, and both are superimposed over a center dial with “MONTBLANC – MB MI6.26” in black lettering. It’s water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 50-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 14.18mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Montblanc 1858 "Unveiled Secret" Minerva Monopusher Chronograph Skeleton 129613 has a mechanical manual winding caliber M16.26 inverted column-wheel chronograph movement (built on the MB caliber M16.29) with gilded gear wheels and Cotes de Geneve embellishment on the German steel bridges. It runs backwards and the mainspring is wound in the opposite direction. The components are polished and beveled and it’s constructed with a swan-neck regulator on the balance cock, a free-sprung monometallic balance, and the movement oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5Hz). This was introduced in 2023 in a limited edition of only 58 examples. Minerva was purchased by the Richemont brand in 2006 and it was added to the Montblanc concern, housed in the workshop that once belonged to Blancpain.
