Around the perimeter is a black minute/second scale with Arabic numerals every five seconds to 60, and there is a trapezoidal date aperture window at the 6 o'clock position. To qualify for Master Chronometer status, it has passed the 8 rigorous tests required by METAS (The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).
