This is a stainless steel Omega Seamaster 1948 Co-Axial Master Chronometer 511.12.38.20.02.001. It has a brown leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screw down exhibition sapphire display case back engraved with "NAIAD LOCK, SEAMASTER, LIMITED EDITION" limited edition number, and serial number. The sapphire back is also laser engraved and laquered with a Chris-craft boat and Gloster Meteor aircraft with "70th anniversary" in the center. The 38mm diameter solid two-body case, gently curved lugs, and flat bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is silver and vintage inspired. It has applied polished white gold baton hands and hour markers, 3, 9, and 12 are shown in white gold Arabic numerals. There is a small seconds display at 6 o'clock. It has a 55-hour power reserve at full winding, and it's water resistant to 60 meters/200 feet. The 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Omega Seamaster 1948 Co-Axial Master Chronometer 511.12.38.20.02.001 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Omega Caliber 8804 co-axial escapement movement. It's anti-magnetic and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. To qualify for Master Chronometer status, it has passed the 8 rigorous tests required by METAS (The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology). It's rhodium plated with Geneva waves in arabesque, and it's constructed with 39 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a free-sprung monometallic balance with an Si14 silicon balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 25,200 vph (3.5Hz).

The Omega Seamaster 1948 Co-Axial Master Chronometer 511.12.38.20.02.001 was introduced in 2019 as a tribute to the first Seamaster models of 1948 with the original post-war design. It is a limited edition model with only 1948 examples.
