More about Panerai PAM000194 Luminor Submersible SS Limited to 1000 Pieces VERY NICE

This is a Titanium and stainless steel Panerai Luminor Submersible PAM000194. It has a composite rubber dive strap with a Titanium tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It includes the patented lever activated full winding crown protector (for adjustments even underwater), a corrector for the date on the left-side case band at 8 o'clock, and there is a solid screw down case back that's engraved with "OFFICINE PANERAI – SUBMERSIBLE 2500 – TITANIUM -2500 M," and an edition number. The 47mm square cushion-shaped solid two-body Titanium case, downturned lugs, and bidirectional rotating bezel, are satin/polished. The flat angled brushed stainless steel bezel has a ratchet click at minute intervals, raised polished Arabic numeral graduations on the quarter-hours, and a luminous pip in a dive triangle at the 60-minute position. The dial is black with vintage luminous lozenge-shaped hour indices and luminous Arabic numerals at the half-hours. It includes Titanium pointed fat baton hands, and around the perimeter is a luminous white minute scale. There is a circular date aperture window underneath a Cyclops magnification lens at the 3 o'clock position, and a recessed black subsidiary running constant small seconds register with luminous markers, and a "propeller" style indicator hand is at 9 o'clock. It's water resistant to 2500 meters/8,000 feet, and it has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding. The 17mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Panerai Luminor Submersible PAM000194 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Panerai caliber OP III (base ETA caliber 7750). It's rhodium plated, with oeil-de-perdrix, distinctive Panerai decoration, and Côtes de Genève embellishment on the bridges. It's constructed with 21 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, an Incabloc shock absorber device, and a Glucydur monometallic balance that's adjusted for temperature and 5 positions. It has a self-compensating flat balance spring and a micrometer regulator. It includes a personalized oscillating weight; the mechanism vibrates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). This Panerai Luminor Submersible PAM000194 was introduced in 2004 in a limited edition to 1000 examples. It was nicknamed "Subzilla" in its inauguration year because of its legendary water resistance and Titanium case.
