This is a stainless steel Panerai Radiomir Alarm GMT PAM00098. It has an alligator leather strap with a stainless steel double folding deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-glare coating. There are two onion-shaped pull out crowns on the right side of the case: the one at 2 o'clock winds the watch, sets the time, the second time zone and the date. The crown at 4 o'clock sets and winds the alarm, which is indicated around the cupped flange by a center arrow-shaped hand. It has a screw down exhibition sapphire display case back, engraved with "OFFICINE PANERAI – STAINLESS STEEL – 30M," and a serial and reference number. The 42mm by 42mm cushion-shaped solid three-body case, screwed wire loop lugs, and angled round bezel, are polished. The dial is black with luminous baton hour indices around a railroad-style minute/second chapter ring with luminous triangle hour markers, Arabic numerals at 9 and 10 o'clock, and steel pointed baton hands with luminous inserts. There is a steel center sweep seconds hand, and the alarm is on the perimeter flange in white Arabic numerals, indicated by a steel arrow-tipped indicator center hand. There is a round Cyclops lens over the date aperture window at 3 o'clock, and the GMT second time zone subsidiary arched dial with three Arabic numeral hours is at 6 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and it has a 47-hour power reserve at full wind. The 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Panerai Radiomir Alarm GMT PAM00098 has a mechanical automatic self-winding caliber Girard Perregaux 59 (base Jaquet 5900) movement. It's rhodium plated with Panerai personalized bridges and oscillating weight that powers both the time train and the alarm train. It's constructed with 31 jewels, a monometallic Glucydur balance with a Nivarox I spring, and an Incabloc anti shock device. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
