This is a stainless-steel Panerai Luminor Marina Power Reserve PAM00125. It has an alligator leather strap with a stainless-steel double folding deployment buckle and and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. It includes the patented Panerai hemispherical screw-down winding crown protector lever activated for winding even underwater, and there is a screw-down solid case back engraved with "OFFICINE PANERAI – FIRENZE – 1860 – STAINLESS-STEEL – 300M," and serial numbers. The 40mm diameter square cushion-shaped solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and flat angled bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is black with luminous Arabic numerals at the half-hours, luminous baton hour indices, and the polished steel hour and minute pointed baton hands have luminous inserts. There are two recessed brushed steel subsidiary dials with black markers and luminous white propeller indicator hands, including a circular small constant running seconds register at 9 o'clock, and a hemispherical power reserve is at the 5 o'clock position. There is a circular date aperture window with a magnification lens at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet, it has a 40-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 16mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Panerai Luminor Power Reserve PAM00125 has a mechanical automatic Panerai caliber OP IX (based on the ETA caliber 7750) movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes and distinctive Panerai embellishment. It's constructed with 21 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. There is a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) The Panerai Luminor Marina Power Reserve PAM00125 was introduced in 2002 and it was produced until 2005 in a limited edition of 1500 examples.
