There is a solid screw down case back engraved with the PCYC sailboat emblem and "PANERAI CLASSIC YACHTS CHALLENGE – OFFICINE PANERAI – LUMINOR 1950 CERAMIC – TITANIUM CASE BACK – 100M," with a serial number. The 44mm diameter solid three-body cushion-shaped square case, gently curved lugs, and flat angled bezel, are satin ceramic. The dial is black with luminous Arabic numerals at the half hours, and luminous baton hour indices around a white minute/second scale. There is a perimeter blue and white tachymeter scale to 30-kilometers and it has pointed luminous baton hour and minute hands with a blue center sweep second hand. It has twin luminous subsidiary dials with white markers, Arabic numerals, and steel propeller-style indicator hands including a small constant running seconds register at 9 o'clock, and a 12-hour chronograph totalizer is at 3 o'clock with a blue indicator hand. It has a 3-Day/72-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and the 16mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The Panerai Luminor Classic Yachts Challenge Luminor Flyback PAM00788 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Panerai caliber P.9100 column wheel chronograph movement. It's rhodium plated and it's constructed with 37 jewels, 302 components, a Glucydur monometallic balance, an Incabloc anti-shock system, and twin mainspring barrels mounted in series. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz).
