This is an AISI 316L stainless steel Panerai Radiomir 8 Day PAM00992. It has a faux vintage beige calf leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and a Plexiglas crystal for historical consistency. There is an onion-shaped pull out signed winding crown and a screw down exhibition sapphire display case back engraved with "OFFICINE PANERAI – 100M – STAINLESS STEEL," and hallmarks. The 45mm diameter square cushion-shaped solid two-body case, wire 1930's era lugs, and stepped bezel, have been specially treated to have a satin matte finish patina. It has a matte black sandwich dial with beige vintage tone luminous hour markers, including an Arabic numeral 6 and 12 and stick baton hour indices. There are blued steel hour and minute hands with luminous inserts, and a white circle at the 3 o'clock position has "8 Giorni Brevatto" (8-day patent) in white letters. There is a luminous small constant running seconds subsidiary dial with luminous lozenge and stick markers with a luminous "propeller" shaped indicator hand at 9 o'clock. It's water resistant to 100 meter/330 feet, it has an 8-day, 192-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 14.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Panerai Radiomir 8 Day PAM00992 has a mechanical manual winding Panerai in-house caliber P.5000 movement. It's rhodium plated with Panerai embellishment and it's constructed with 21 jewels, 127 components, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes two spring barrels mounted in series, an Incabloc Parechoc anti-shock system, and a free sprung adjustable mass balance. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). The Panerai Radiomir 8 Day PAM00992 was produced in 2007 to a limited edition to 1000 examples. It's inspired by one of the original Radiomir models of 1936.
