This is a vintage 1969 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe Calatrava 3468. It includes an alligator leather strap and a domed crystal. It has a solid snap-on case back. The 32.5mm diameter solid three-body case, angled bezel, and straight lugs are high polished. The yellow dial is textured champagne with applied yellow gold baton hour markers and pointed gold stick baton hour and minute hands. The 6.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Patek Philippe Calatrava 3468 has a mechanical manual winding Patek Philippe caliber 23-300 movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment and it's stamped with the Geneva Quality Hallmark. It's constructed with 18 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It' includes a monometallic Gyromax balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, a self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance-spring, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 19,800 vph (2.75 Hz). The Patek Philippe Calatrava 3468 was released in the 1960's.
