This is a vintage c. 1966 18k yellow gold Patek Philippe Calatrava Automatic 3514. It includes a leather strap with an 18k yellow gold tang buckle and scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a signed pull out winding crown and a screw down solid case back. The 33mm diameter solid two-body round case, curved lugs, and convex bezel, are polished/brushed. The domed dial is sunray silver with applied 18k gold faceted baton hour markers surrounded by an engraved perimeter pip minute scale. It has pointed thin gold baton hour and minute hands and there is a printed small constant running seconds subsidiary dial at 6 o'clock. A gold framed date aperture window is at the 3 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 25 meters/80 feet, it has a 38-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 9.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Patek Philippe Calatrava Automatic 3514 has a mechanical self-winding, rhodium-plated Caliber 27-460 movement. It's stamped with the Geneva Quality hallmark, and it has the Patek Philippe seal. It's rhodium plated, with Cotes de Geneve embellishment and it's constructed with 37 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a Gyromax balance that's adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism, and 5 positions, a self-compensating blued steel Breguet balance spring, and an 18K gold rotor with the Calatrava symbol. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 19,800 vph (2.75 Hz). The Patek Philippe Calatrava Automatic 3514 was introduced in the 1960's.
